Best vacation EVER!!-Warning LOTS OF PICS!!

Ok, so my wonderful fantastic parents treated my entire family and our significant others to the world's best Vacation EVER. It all started about a year ago when we decided to take a trip to Hawaii. Well when it all came down to it flights to Hawaii where ranging about 1500 dollars a person. So my brilliant parents then decided to take us all on a cruise. Spencer and I had never been on a cruise so we really didn't know what to expect. Much to my surprise it was the most relaxing, enjoying, and rewarding vacation we had ever been on. So you can probably tell by my descriptions that we did not take our two beautiful kiddos. We where very sad to leave them but so glad that we took the opportunity to not bring them along. Instead my very generous in-laws took them for the 9 very long days. It was very nice not to worry about them for a minute and know that they where being loved and well taken care of. Thanks Tom and Marilyn.
The cruised was along the Western Caribbean and we got a chance to visit Grand Caymans, Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel Mexico. Here we are flying to Florida watching our DVDs (One Tree Hill) I know we are pathetic!!

This was one of the formal nights that we had on the ship. We ate like pigs every single Day!!
Our room which we never cleaned... We had room service twice a day including a turn down service....
My favorite towel animal... It made me smile every time I saw it

Spencer enjoying life and the Grand Cayman island. The water was perfect until we saw some Sting rays floating around... We chose to get out at that point
At the Seven Mile Beach in Grand Caymans
These is us in Honduras just driving around on a Mope Head. This was one of favorite ports. It was a very poor Country but had some very beautiful parts
Spence trying to get out of the puddles

Us at the beach in Honduras... Favorite beach by FAR!!

I meet a little friend there, Nathaniel. I am sure he just wanted money (which I gave him) but he followed us around for a good couple of hours. We bought him a soda and just hung out with him. He was so cute and was only 7 years old. I kinda wanted to take him home with me.

A amazing look out we found riding around Honduras

Ok when we got to Belize I was not really impressed. It was not nearly as pretty and was very dirty and poor. We as a family heard that we had to do the cave tours and zip line in Belize. Here we are not sure what we are about to get ourselves into with these cave tours.

The cave tours where amazing and a little freaky. I couldn't think about it to much. We floated through caves like this for about an hour
Then it was on to the zip lines which that all Spencer really wanted to do. It was so much fun!! You literally feel like you are flying through the jungles. I about knocked this guy out because I couldn't find the brakes!!

Spence was better at it them I was.

Dust and B ready to fly!
On our last port we went to Cozumel Mexico. Here we are at some Ruins the we just happen to fall on while riding around again on some mope heads with the fam. It was so fascinating to read about the people and how they lived so long ago
Riding around Cozumel with my hot stuff...
Mom and Dad riding along, we had so much fun on these gutless wonders. I highly recommend it!!
We found this gorgeous little beach as we where driving around. We stopped at this little dive and had the best fish I had ever tasted!! That meaning a lot because I HATE FISH!! This cute little Mexican had the hots for my mom and we just hung out drinking our fun fruity drinks
Back on the bikes heading back to the ship :( Spence checking out the island with my family in front.

The most gorgeous beach that I had ever seen. Cozumel was another favorite port. We had so much fun and we loved every minute of our vacation. We where pretty ready to see our kiddos though. We missed them like crazy!! Thanks Mom and Dad for the best Christmas gift and vacation that we could have ever dreamed of. We love you so much!!

Cute Story

The other day Seth was walking through the family room as I was relaxing on the couch watching TV. He quickly turned around and asked me a very interesting question.. He said "Mom do you think that I have a cute nipple. I said "WHAT", he continued to ask again... "Mom do you think I have a cute nipple". About the third time he said this I realized that he was smiling very big trying to show me his DIMPLE!!! Seth has one very cute Dimple on his right cheek and I think he know it. I thought I was going to pee a little I was laughing so hard. In conclusion we had a quick little talk about the letter D and N and the difference a letter can make in a word.....

The Month of October

Spencer had his knee surgery in the beginning of the month. He did great has been a good sport being gipy in all... He is going to Physical Therapy twice a week and is being very careful not to push himself to much. He is getting pretty tired of being a little laid up. Yesterday I had a little comical moments as I saw him mowing our font lawn with a extra little limp in each step.. Sorry babe, your doing great!!
We actually have gotten the chance to brake out our sweaters a couple of times this year... Finally I think the cool weather is coming.....We also got a wonderful visit from our friends the Mcleods. We had so much fun with them and where really sad to see them go. Seth and Lyric did great together and never really fought at all. Packy and Tess actually got to play this time and where pretty cute together. Of course Lindy and I had a blast together and just shopped and ate, and ate and ate. Thank you guys for coming... Sure love you all so much

For Halloween this year Seth went through about 4 costumes. Superman, Spider man, a robot, and the final verdict was a Astronaut. This particular party he was Spider man..

Miss Tess was Wonder Women.... Totally fit her personality and she looked adorable doing it. We had a very busy month but loved every minute..

Camera Bust

So you can all probably tell that I haven't blogged in quite sometime.... I promise I have an excuse. My poor camera has been abused by my sweet by rough four year old boy. I just feel like I can't really blog without it. I plan on taking it to a camera shop in the next few days when I can magically get money that I need to fix it off of my newly planted money tree...... ha
Not much is going on around our house hold. Just working, playing, trying to stuff some much into one day, and trying to find time to enjoy one another. Oh yeah, Spence is having knee surgery on Thursday. He finally went to the Doctor (with lots of encouragement) and discovered that he pretty much doesn't have any ligaments in his left knee. This has ONLY been going on for about three years!!! I know he will be just fine but wish him luck and keep us in your prayers.

Summer Time Catch up!

Finally just this week I have the GREAT pleasure in going to girls camp with our ward. The girs where great and they are all so special and sweet. I had to leave early but I sure enjoyed the time I got to be with them

Hiking Fossil Creek with Kiersten, Marie, Katie, and Cody. I was so proud of all of them... It was a rocky 4 milie hike down hill and then another VERY hard 4 mile rocky hike up hill. Girls I was so proud of you... Sure love you!

7/15-7/25/08 At the last minutes I decided to jump in the car with my parents and endure a 10 hour car ride to California to see my friend Lindy and her adorable family and to see my grandparents in Ventura. Seth and Tessa didn't great in the car,it was Mommy who was starting to feel and little crazy.

Seth and Lyric enjoying their slip in slide. That was the best 8 dollars I spent... They where out there for hours.
We also went to a very fun water park. The mom's felt a little crazy because it was hard to watch everyone but I am so glad that my mom came with us.. she was so much help. Seth loved going up and down the slides. It was a blast..
Oh and here is my sweet LITTLE 18 month out baby girl who would have nothing to do with help. She wanted to go down all by her little self. Can you tell she is a little spit fire? She probably went up and down at least 15 times by herself... I am in so much trouble with her!!!All the kiddos after the swim park... Anyone tired?

One of the fun things about Lindy's and my relationship is that our parents are really good friends too. This picture is Pam (Lindy's mom) and Julie (my mom) with their grand babies swimming and Pam and Mike's house. My Dad (Scott) and Lindy's Dad (Mike)

Finally Lindy with her kiddos Paxton, and Lyric, and Me with mine Tess and Seth. I can't believe that we have four kids between us. We had such a great time... Thanks Lindy for having us! Your turn next to come to AZ... he he

At the end of the week we stopped at my Nany and Papa's house in beautiful Ventura. My Nany is pretty sick and fighting cancer right now so we all felt like we needed to stop and have visit. Nany looked just a pretty as she always does and has a fighting spirit about her. My grandparents have a turtle that they have had since my Dad was a little boy... Seth and Tess loved him.
Quick picture before we left... Seth didn't want to (can you tell) Sure love you Nany and Papa... hope to see you soon!!

6/30-7/4/08 For Fourth of July Spencer's Family and our little clan went to the D-backs game. It was nice because the kiddos had a blast and it was a nice cool place to be for the fourth. The game was a little boring and Tessa started to get a little restless but all in all it was pretty fun. This year was the first time Seth was not completely freaked out about the fire works. We got to go down on to the baseball field and get a better view of the show....
Seth and I also had the great pleasure to see High School Musical in Broadway form. I do have to say it was very entertaining and it was fun to see all of the kids singing a dancing around. I told Seth that this was a date for just Seth and I and that Tess and Daddy where not invited. The rest of the week Seth continued to tell everyone that Mommy and Seth went on a HOT date. Can you tell that is what Spencer and I call ours?

Thanks Seth for the HOT DATE!!!

During the Summer we try our best to stay inside and find new hobbies to keep us busy... This is Tessa's new hobby... we will just leave it at that!!!!

6/20-6/30/08 So the last time I blogged we had just returned for our California Trip to Oceanside. This picture is us at Disneyland during that trip. The kids had so much fun and where very well behaved.
My cute boys havin a blast
When we got home we celebrated Father's Day in a very fun way. Aunt Linda rented out a big slide and the kids had a blast.... Oh and the adults did too.Tessa of course had so fear and wanted to go down the slide all night
I love this picture... Seth has pure joy all over his face
Shortly after that Seth had his first dentist appt. He did great and now we get to go back for 1900 dollars worth of work. I was really concerned with his two front teeth and the fact that they are a little discolor but of course there is nothing wrong with those. His back teeth are crumbling due to the face that he is a major grinder in his sleep. In most cases they won't really worry about them because they are baby teeth but in this case he will have his back teeth until he is about 10 or 12. Can you tell I am a little bitter??? Needless to say we haven't taken him back yet... and of course the longer we wait the worst they will be come. Anyone got 1900 dollars growing on their trees?... because I surely don't!!
