My sweet Nany..

So my dear sweet Nany went to visit our Heavenly Father this passed Sunday evening. She had been battling cancer and many other illnesses the passed two year. She put up a very good fight and fought it until the very end. I was able to be with her, her final days and be there when she passed. It was a very spiritual experience and I am so grateful that I was by her side in her time of need. My Nany (Margaret Herron) Lived a very full and exciting life. She married the love of her life Raymond (Papa) and they where married for 55 years. Believe it or not they actually ran away to be married in Vegas!! They had two sweet boys, Kieth who unfortunately passed when he was only 11 years old in a tragic accident, and then my sweet dad Scott. She loved to right dirt bikes, paint, do poetry, sing, play the piano, SHOP, travel, and be with her family every special event she and Papa could attend. I was her only granddaughter so I got to enjoy some very special moments with my Nany. Every morning when she came to visit I knew I could run up stair and watch her put her make up on in her big vanity in her room. She made all three of us grandchildren feel so loved and gave us her unconditional love. My Nany was a very genuine person. She was so sensitive to everyone and everything. She would even cry when we would bless the food. I know that she is in a much  better place with our Heavenly Father and I know that her son Keith was the first one she got to see when she passed. I also know that she is having quite the party in heaven with all of her friends and family that had passed before her. I am so glad that I have the gospel in my life that helps my know and feel the spiritual side of death. I know I will get to see her someday and I am so grateful to be the one that gets to do her work when that times come. I love you Nany... thank you for always being there for me and loving me the way you did.
Seth got to help with the casket. He was so proud.Papa and my Dad, Scott saying their goodbyes. They both loved her very much as did she love them.

Prego Pics, and sugar cookies!

So I was asked by a couple of people to post a picture of my profile. Here it is in all my glory.. I feel great, a little tired, a little sore, oh and this little guy decided it would be fun to give mommy vains on my legs. I am getting excited to be done, but as a soon to be mom of three... I know it is a lot easier if he stays in for awhile.

Cute story... One night while Tessa Bear was already asleep, Seth and I decided to lay on my bed to watch a movie together. Of course as soon as I lay down, baby Scotty decides to go crazy!! I pulled Sethers hand to my belly to see if he could feel his baby brother. He felt him!! He was so shocked and excited .. He started laughing so hard. We laided there for about 30 mins just feeling my tummy jump. I loved every min of it. It was such a amazing moment that we got to share.

My mom makes the worlds best sugar cookies!! So the other day I was feeling a little home sick and while Seth and his friend where playing the Wii, Tess and I made her sugar cookies. Tessa loves to cook with me. We put our little aprons on and just had a blast. Tessa's little apron was my moms when she was a little girl.. Tessa even got her own batch of cookies to make. Of course she licked her fingers and ate most of the batch, but that is why they where only hers!! She was so proud of herself.

Mini Vaca in Cali

n So yes we went to California again.. it's our favorite place and we love going to our special spots along the way. We joined some family member that were vacationing the same time as us at the wonderful Olvera street. We partook in the best Mexican food around and the best GREEN GUACAMOLE sauce that I would drink if I could.
On our way to Balboa island on the fairy.

Had to stop at the fun zone and do some trampoline tricks. Seth's favorite thing. The guy working it was hilarious!! He kept calling Seth , Bethany and making him laugh and scream louder then I have ever heard him.

Then of course... The Happiest Place on earth.. DISNEYLAND!! I know.. we have problems. We spent two wonderful days there and had a blast. I got to sit out a lot, being six months prego in all... but it was nice to rest. Look at Tess, she is crazy!

Seth has to get corn on the cob next to Thunder Mountain.... one of many of our traditions. This time he had a little harder time eating it without front teeth.

Sneaking a moment in the back of the boat in small world..

Hanging with Jack after the Pirates ride.

My kids lovvvvvvvvvve going to the Grizzly Bear Playground in California Adventure. So much fun.. They would stay just in that area all day long.

Tessa not quite sure about that slide. We had so much fun and would go back in a heart beat.. well maybe next time it would be nice not to be prego.

Our Mister turned 6!

Look at this cute little.. I mean big boy!! I can't believe this mister has been in our lives for six wonderful years!! We sure do love this sweet guy. He wanted to go to (Peeper) Piper Pizza this year and since we were leaving town about 2 hours after this fabulous party , I was completely on board.
All of his friends and some cousins havin a blast!

Seth had spotted out this Jack Sparrow ice cream cake at DQ a few month back and had never forgotten about it (he doesn't forget about ANYTHING) it was sure yummy...

After the fun festivities we jumped in the car and drove to Cali to finish the celebration.. and on our way to vacation. We had dinner at Ruby's on the peer in Newport Beach. Seth... Thank you for being such a good boy. You are so smart, sensitive, caring, great big brother, creative, imaginative, strong willed, FUNNY, kind, and the best son that your Mommy and Daddy could ever ask for. love you son!

Recap of the month

Seth lost ANOTHER TOOTH this month. He is so proud of his new smile and now talks with a little whistle. He is so dang cute. He is really young to have lost all of these teeth. A lot of kiddos in his class have not even lost one... he is now up to four.
Tessa and Seth both got the RSV virus this month. Seth tends to get it quite a bit more then Tessa around this time of year because he has asthma. Tessa was SO excited that she got to breath like a dragon like big brother. She was so proud... Little did she know that it is not good things. Can you tell that she was excited?

One day after school I went to pick up this cute little boy and much to my surprise I was picking up Dr. Seuss. They had celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday at school and had all dressed up.

Finally this month we had the great pleasure in enjoying a week with Apple Jul. We love when she comes to visit and appreciate the sacrifice that my parents make for her to come. Thanks Dad!! We played ALL week long and feel like it's Christmas when she visits. We love you Apple Jul and miss you Popeye.. Come back real soon!

Such a happening life... Such a big blog!

Well a lot has happened since my last post.. We decided to make BLUE cupcakes in celebration of our new addition to our sweet little family. WE ARE HAVING A BOY! Seth and Spencer say they knew it all a long and Tessa and I are just as thrilled. We are going to name him after my Dad.. So little Scotty is on his way. Plus Tessa says Scotty soo cute! June will be here before we know it.

This next picture is per request of my Mom who lives in Cali and hasn't seen my belly in awhile, and my best friend Lindy who is due the same time I am but with a little girl. So see.. my belly is too getting bigger!

Tessa was so excited to celebrate her third birthday with all of her friends and family. We had a FABULOUS tea party! Everyone wore their best tea party hats! It was so dang cute! Can't believe my baby is three.

Opening her now new favorite toy/pillow. Her very own Pillow Pet! Anytime she is having some down time she runs to get her piggy pillow... she loves it! So glad Mom and Dad had to look ALL over for that thing.

Tessa was the official pouree of the tea (crystal light) She was very proud to do her job and very well at it I might say. We also had little peanut butter and honey sandwiches cut out in flowers, strawberries, pink marshmallows and flower shapes waffler cookies (thx Lissa). All of Tessa's favorite things.

Cheers!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!! We just love your fun, spunky, sassy, sensitive, and caring way. We are so glad you are a part of our family. We love you!!

He FINALLY did it!!

Seth has finally done it... He is officially riding his bike without his training wheels. This event has taken Seth many encouraging pep talks and a lot of bribing his way. So one day we decided it was time. Spencer took his bike to get the tires pumped up and as soon as he saw him getting it our of the car he flipped out. But like good forcing parents we told him we would take him out for ice cream that night if he just tried....
Seth feeling a little confident but wanting his dad not to let go.

It took him one good push and dad only had to help him once down the street. He is so proud of himself and so are we.

Look at this smile.... He did such a good job!! That night while he was going to sleep he couldn't stop talking about his "two wheeler" and he couldn't wait to ride it after school the next day. He also told me that someday he will soon ride a "one wheeler". Good job Seth man!

Christmas Happenings

Well it's been a very fun, crazy month. I thought I would just do one entire post about the month of December rather then several little post. So prepare yourself this is one big post with lots of pictures. Seth Man took this picture of me and it's the only one I could find that was recent of my tummy. Yes I am PREGNANT!! I don't really feel like I have officially announced my pregnancy. We have just kinda told people here and there. Now people are starting to look at me like and thinking to themselves " Is she prego, or just putting on weight?" So yes, number three is on it's way. We are due June 17th and I will be the first one to admit that we are in some what of denial about the entire process. I have felt pretty crummy, tired, and not myself lately. I just entered the second trimester and am starting to feel a little better. I just went to the Doctor today and everything is going really well. We are excited to find out what we are having next appt. Stay tuned for more prego post.
We started the month off with Seth's Music Makers Christmas program. He got to sing " All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". He was so cute and did such a great job. I just love his toothless smile. Good job Seth!

Well we went to San Fran this year for Christmas to spend it with my family. Its was nice to get away and have a break from the day to day stuff. Tessa and Seth got some funky eyeballs at a really cool vintage candy shop that we went to while we where in Cali. This is Tess being a scary monster... She is so funny. She is always keeping us on our toes.

Seth being a zombie..... Silly boy!

My parents have this AMAZING sandwich shop where they live. I go at least a couple times
when I visit. I have been talking about this place for months to Spencer and he finally got to experience the mouth watering goodness that I love so very much. Guess what?? He loved it too.

One night while we where there we decided to go out and ride some go carts. First of all it was FREEZING but Seth was bound and determined to have some fun. This is me and my Momma Mia waiting for the go card to be over so we could go inside. Fun times

Tessa ready for a ride... my little dare devil.

Seth was not sure at first... but then had a blast.

Then one night we went bowling. Has anyone bowled an entire game with two little kids? It takes FOREVER! Especially when you are prego and haven't had dinner and are about to lose it because because your soooo hungry. Well the kids had a blast and it fun to see them try to bowl a third of their weight.

Spencer spoiled me this year and go me a new pink beach cruiser with a trailer with it. We went to some parks while we where there. I was laughing so hard when I saw is pic because I guess while I was busting my booty halling these kids around, I left my camera in the trailer with the kiddos and there where about 20 of these goofy pictures.

Having fun at the park .

Opening stockings... Santa spoiled these kids

Popeye being silly while opening presents.

A Wii, are you kidding me. Seth was so excited!!

Tessa knows she is so cute...

We had a very fun week with Apple Jul and Popeye. Thank you so much for having us and loving us the way you do. When we got back into town Sunday night we got right back into family fun. Grandpa Tom was having a family reunion. We had many festivities and had a lot of fun. With the family reunion we celebrated Grandpa Tom's 90th birthday. This picture is with Grandpa Tom with all of his grandkids. Isn't he so cute.

The final festivity was at the Landmark for lunch. Grandpa Tom got up to say a few words and make everyone cry. We love you Grandpa and appreciate the wonderful example you are to all of us. Happy Birthday!!
